Weekly Service Information
Please note that there is a communion service every week at 10.30am, and although we do not have a permanent rector at the moment, we are looked after by the Deanery with the majority of our services taken by The Very Rev John Guille and Rev Jan Le Billon.
We invite you to join us for a traditional communion service, where we have hymns, readings, prayers and communion. Children are welcome - we do have an activity corner for them and it is fine if they wander around the church (they are inquisitive and we understand that).
If this is your first time of attending a service, please know that you can participate in whatever parts of the service you like, so if you don't feel comfortable with singing the hymns, or sharing the handshake for the peace, or going up to the alter for a blessing, then it is all up to you and we don't judge, we want you to decide on the pace you go at.
We are a friendly bunch and would love it if you joined us for a cuppa and cake after!
The St Sampson's Church family
From the end of 2020 we have been in an interim period, with The Very Rev John Guille and Rev Jan Le Billon taking our services until a new rector is appointed.
